I started to modeling the train body, then i did order by rubrics like train body, stack, hitch magnet through cow catcher. And looked at dimensions as shown.

I think my challenges were dimensioning and assembly. Dimensioning, we have to dimension lot of complicate parts and they were hard to dimensioned like wheel, cow catcher. Assembly train was hardest assembly to me(personally). Because we have to do lot of constraints. Skills i learned was how to animate train to move through tracks. I saw cool video on 8th grade Mr. Hill's class, i went closer to made them. Purpose of sectional view is able to see whats going on inside a design. And purpose of auxiliary view is used for oblique objects like cow catcher, so it helps you to dimension hidden objects that you can't see from front and to see hidden angles. Purpose of a broken view is cut part of object for closer look, so it helps you dimension only part you cut. Symbols are used to identify hole types, because it's lot easier than write word down every time (save the time), to save space in dimensioning. And to example how they are meant look. By adding tolerances to your models you come closer to a master model concept where all the information (description, part number, custom properties, material, mass, tolerances, and more) about the part is stored with the model.
